As reported by Herald Sun 15th December – The Melbourne Theatre Company’s first-up offering for 2010 is a hit. The star-studded Broadway success The Drowsy Chaperone set a new company box-office record when ticket sales reached $110,000 last Monday, bringing to 18,000 the total number of tickets sold for the season from January 18-February 20. The MTC production stars Geoffrey Rush, Robyn Nevin, Shane Jacobson and Rhonda Burchmore. For tickets go to www.mtc.com.au
