The Dungog Film Festival, the world’s biggest showcase of Australian film, has announced the official program that includes the world premiere screening of ‘Surviving Georgia‘ starring Shane Jacobson, Pia Miranda, Holly Valance and Spencer McLaren. Now in it’s fourth year, the Dungog Film Festival will run over a four-day weekend from 27 – 30 May 2010.

Just announced Shane is set to star alongside Pia Miranda, Holly Valance, Caroline O’Connor and Spencer McLaren in Surviving Georgia, Directed by Sandra Sciberras and Kate Whitbread (Caterpillar Wish) and Produced by Kate Whitbread and Spencer McLaren . Filming will commence end of November in the beautiful country town of Warburton, Victoria. Surviving Georgia is a heart warming romantic comedy about family and finding your own identity in the world. Heidi and Rose must find love but in doing so, must first reconcile with their feisty gambling alcoholic mother. Due for release 2010.
