Shane will host a new television series for Channel 9 called When I Grow Up. A series about the funny things young Australian kids say and do. The series features interviews with children, candid camera stunts, vox pops and children interviewing celebrities. Shane will learn all about the world through the eyes of his entertaining and enthusiastic guests.

Shane Jacobson recently launched the new Rio Tinto ‘Life Flight’jet which was purchased by RFDS Western Operations with the help of a $5 million sponsorship by Rio Tinto. The jet service will provide a fast response service and first-class medical care to seriously ill patients in need of evacuation to hospital when time and distance are critical.

Charlie & Boots (directed by Dean Murphy – Strange Bedfellows) is a funny and heartfelt movie with wonderful Australian characters. Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) plays Charlie McFarland and Shane plays his estranged son, Boots. After a family tragedy Charlie and Boots try and put their differences aside and head off on the road trip of a lifetime.
Check out the poster art and some images from the movie.
Shane will commence a promotional tour with Paul Hogan on Friday 14th of August. Together they will travel to Warrnambool, Melbourne, Sydney, Tamworth, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
